The journey begins

Mick is getting ready for the BIG trip. This is the one that he's always wanted to do - and now is the time! This blog is to be his way of keeping the story up to date, and also allow others to stay in touch with his progress, plans and personal insights. Here is Mick's machine, and the place he is starting from (no, the house picture is not upside down!)

Well, yes I'm off around the planet like some demented feardy-gowk. Could contributors please identify themselves. I'm not sure how all this works yet but it's a bit spooky getting anonymous comments. Mind I'm scared of about everything these days! Mick

Mick, All the best on your 'RTW' on a 'BMW'. Look forward to hearing of your exploits. How about meeting up in New Zealand next summer? always fancied scooting around there on a hired Triumph. Take care and have a good one! Enfie + Ulrike.

Cheers, Enfs and thanks for the jumpleads I just found on the bike! It'll be the NZ winter mind, but that sounds great. I had thought of a campervan at that point. Don't know how severe their winters are. See youse there! :-)
